First Impression -The first thing that struck me about Good Fortune was the packaging. The deep purple bottle is mesmerizing, resembling a crystal ball swirling with an amethyst-colored liquid. The gold accents and the amethyst-shaped top add a touch of luxury, making it feel like a special occasion every time I reach for it. The bottle is made with 15 percent recycled glass and its top is un-screwable so the bottle can be refilled. It feels substantial and luxurious in my hand, and it definitely makes a statement on my vanity.

Good Fortune opens with a surprising yet intriguing co-distillation of fennel and gentian flower. It’s a bit of an unusual start, but it quickly settles into a beautiful heart of jasmine. The jasmine is rich and creamy, but not overpowering. The base of Madagascar vanilla adds a touch of sweetness and warmth, anchoring the fragrance and leaving a lingering trail of positivity.

My Personal Experience and thoughts with Viktor & Rolf Good Fortune Eau de Parfume
From the first spritz, I knew Good Fortune was something special. I easily got a good 6-8 hours of wear out of it. Reapplication might be needed for a night out, but for everyday wear, it holds up beautifully, I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The initial fennel and gentian notes are a bit unexpected, but they quickly meld with the creamy jasmine and warm vanilla to create a truly unique and captivating scent. I think it can also be dressed up for a special and formal occasions. Most say this perfume is more of a winter scent but I think that it can worn in any season. If you’re someone who finds sweet scents to be cloying, it maybe one that you could be potential put off by, wearing it in a more cooler environment maybe best. Wearing Good Fortune makes me feel confident and empowered, ready to take on the day and attract positive experiences.
